olo is a long-time friend, driving us in Bali each time we come here. He will show you hidden places, quiet beaches or busy-noisy streets. Just ask, he knows. Always on time, always a smile and/or a joke, Solo is a reliable driver and a very nice person.
We first met him on the beach, took a ride with him a few days ago, and Solo is now the first person we call when arriving to Bali.
I would not hesitate to rank Solo as "Lima-Bintang" driver (Bintang in Bahasa Indonesia means Stars, nothing to see in that case with the Balinese beer :-)

In 2011 we went for a 3 week trip to Bali. We didn't book much in advance, we just wanted to travel around and see where the wind blows. We met Solo on the beach and immediately had a good feeling. We asked him if he could bring us from A to B, and later on form B to C etcetera. In the end he drove us all around Bali and showed us the most beautiful places along the way. It was always nice to see him again! Solo is a kind and lovely man who loves his Bali and is a 100% reliable and honest. His rates are fair and I would trust him with my purse without hesitating. He is a darling! We can definately recommend anyone to do excursions with and/or let you drive around by Solo!

Me and my girlfriend went to Bali in October 2010. We met him at the beach and after a couple of times talking to him, we gave it a try and we have never regret it. Solo took us to many places on Bali. He showed us several temples, monkeys, rice fields, nature, a very big waterfall and a quiet beach were we have went snorkeling. Solo is a funny nice guy and he knows a lot about the island. He is spontaneous and likes to talk. We booked him a couple of times, because he is reliable, has a good price and he can take you everywhere you want to go. If we go back to Bali, we will definitely book Solo again.
